Tonal Studies
In the week before this post, we presented our work for the Ice Cave Planet. (The world is an Ice planet starving itself through drug use and spiralling living conditions in dark, awful caves. The whole planet is microscopic, and living on a character named James). I think we really failed this week to keep up with the course. A lot of what we'd done had essentially misunderstood the point of the Tonals task for the week.
Essentially, we didn't have enough tonals, enough detail, or enough description of our research in our presentation. Personally, I think I did a decent amount of research into colour palettes and cinematography, but didn't display it well. The other part of our failure was the fact that we just didn't have enough tonals. As a result, I've done a fair amount more, to try and make up the difference. In these tonals, I tried to go further with the project, and push it a lot further than I had before.
