I think that this week has been a bit tough for all of us to get back into the University routine, so we're moving a bit slower than usual.
My group (from First Year) is Ben, Becca, and Neale, and the foundation students are Josh and Tanith.
Personally, I think I got a lot done this week, and stayed pretty efficient throughout the week. I got started on my presentation early, did my research and presentation slides before Thursday, and felt pretty ready to go by the time our group met on Friday. Then, I felt a bit disappointed, since nobody else had really gotten a lot done by that point. However, I don't blame them, since some people just have a different schedule. I wanted to get my work done before the weekend, and they didn't do the work until the weekend. So, the teamwork was a bit lopsided for me.
I also would have liked some more communication with one another about our slides, just so that we would all know where everyone else was, and to make sure we didn't repeat ourselves. This didn't really happen overall. Ben and I did a bit of work on the Sunday, which worked well, since we could bounce ideas off of one another, and give each other feedback. The topic this week ended up being pretty interesting to me, so I would have liked to talk about it more.
Overall I'm okay with how we did this week, but I'd like to be more efficient next week. I feel like I wasted a lot of time in the Teamwork communication, and worked a bit unreasonably long for how much work I got done.
I also hope that our Team comes together a bit more often to work on our project, and communicates more.
P.S. Conann wasn't in on Monday, so the presentation will have to take place next week. this isn't ideal for me, since I was hoping to have it out of the way. I think I'm prepared though, so I'll just do some review on friday or so. I'll be away for a few days, so I did my best on Monday to get more of my work done.
